Bianca Manis, nata a Sanremo, vive da molti anni a Livorno, città che ha adottato e che è divenuta protagonista di tante sue opere.
La sua calda pittura figurativa si concentra sulla bellezza della natura, sulla poesia del paesaggio: marine vigorose e tramonti infuocati, cespugli fioriti e campi assolati. Scorci dal taglio fotografico e la luce netta e pulita costruiscono un mondo nel quale angoli romantici e dettagli suggestivi si inseriscono in una fresca atmosfera contemporanea. Il paesaggio cittadino, piazze livornesi, il lungomare, si animano di personaggi colti nelle attitudini quotidiane. Il lavoro, la fretta del mattino, l’aperitivo… un nuovo corso poetico nelle opere dell’ultimo periodo, nelle quali l’uomo è in primo piano nel raccontare una bellezza che ancora ci circonda, colta sapientemente dagli occhi dell’artista.

Bianca Manis, born in Sanremo, has lived for many years in Livorno, a city she has adopted and which has become the protagonist of many of her works.
Her warm figurative painting focuses on the beauty of nature, on the poetry of the landscape: vigorous seascapes and fiery sunsets, flowering bushes and sunny fields.
Glimpses from the photographic cut and the clear and clean light build a world in which romantic corners and suggestive details fit into a fresh contemporary atmosphere.
