Francesco Pace è nato a Teramo nel 1972 e dal 1997 vive a Bologna. Il lavoro lo porta a viaggiare in tutto il mondo e gli orizzonti si aprono, la conoscenza si allarga e spazia attraverso nuove e diverse culture e attraverso le più diverse espressioni dell’arte contemporanea internazionale.
Il disegno e la pittura sono da sempre sue compagne, ma solo di recente, in occasione della forzata clausura del 2020, si è dedicato con maggior vigore e entusiasmo alla creazione di nuove opere. Nascono cicli fortemente sentiti, dal grande impatto emotivo, carichi di potenti vibrazioni, nei quali i materiali più diversi, acrilici, colle, gessi, smalti, traducono in composizioni cromatiche e tridimensionali il sentire dell’artista. Su piani diversi, a profondità diverse, veli leggeri e tenui trasparenze si incontrano con ruvide tracce di materia, o lunghe spirali di colori giocano tra loro in una danza complessa. Francesco Pace was born in 1972 in Teramo and since 1997 he lives in Bologna.
The job leads him to travel around the world and horizons open up, knowledge expands and ranges between new and different cultures and through the most diverse expressions of international contemporary art.
Drawing and painting have always been his companions, but only recently, on the occasion of the forced cloister of 2020, has he dedicated himself with greater vigor and enthusiasm to the creation of new works.
Strongly felt works are born, with a great emotional impact, full of powerful vibrations, in which the most diverse materials, acrylics, glues, plasters, enamels, translate the artist’s feeling into chromatic and three-dimensional compositions.
On different levels, at different depths, light veils and soft transparencies meet with rough traces of matter, or long spirals of colors play with each other in a complex dance.
